So we had our first “NPN Gold/Executive” webinar on Thursday evening.

What is your risk threshold?

Hi,

My question for you today is something you should seriously consider before you decide that you want to make “lots of money, quickly” online.

I know everybody wants to make lots of money, I mean that’s why we’re all in business, right?

But..

As with anything that can yield extraordinary results, there is risk involved.

And your results are a direct outcome of how much you’re willing to risk in order to get ahead, faster.

.. lack of results? Same thing.

Here’s a few questions to consider..

  • Would you pay someone $100 once to teach you how to earn $100 per month?
  • Would you pay someone $500 once to teach you how to earn $500 per month?
  • Would you pay someone $1000 once to teach you how to earn $1000 per month?
  • Would you pay someone $5000 once to teach you how to earn $5000 per month?
  • How about $10,000? Hell yeah.

“Most” people aren’t willing to risk anything, yet they are determined to somehow make a good living with that in mind..

It doesn’t work that way.

And I’m not only talking about making that elusive “6 figure income”. I’m talking about running a business and learning how to make it happen quickly for yourself.

Taking risks goes hand in hand with running your own business.

But.. there’s a big difference between taking “risks” and taking “calculated risks”.

The difference between risk takers and calculated risk takers is the difference between failure and success.

Risk takers bet it all on one roll of the dice. If they fail, they fail spectacularly and in such a way that they DON’T live to fight another day. They literally go out in a blaze of attempted glory.

… kind of like buying lottery tickets.

Entrepreneurs, on the other hand, take risks that are “calculated”, so actually they’re not really “risky” at all.

Why? Because they’re calculated. They’re researched. They’re realistic. And they’re  always steps towards something bigger.

So which one are you?

How to Make Your Email Campaign More Effective

Quick Tips For Making Your Email Marketing Campaign Effective

Email marketing is the best way to generate new customers online. By offering something to your visitors in return for their email address, you instantly have the potential for a customer. That something might be an e-book, monthly newsletter, or anything else that has value. However, not all email marketing campaigns are created equal, and so it’s important that you know how to make the most of your email marketing campaign.

#1 Give Them What They Want

The number one rule for email marketing to be successful is to give them what they want. If they sign up for an email newsletter then offer them options about the type of newsletter/download they’ll get. Bottom line – always send relevant content and you can’t go wrong.

#2 Edit Then Edit Again

One of the biggest mistakes made is to create the newsletter or other material and send it out. Once it’s gone there’s no bringing it back. What so many don’t realize is that grammar and your style are as important in your email content as it is on your blog or your website. Before you hit the send button edit and then edit again, to make sure there are no grammar mistakes and that your message flows.

#3 Create a Publishing Calendar

Nothing will have your subscribers’ loose interest faster than irregularity. If you send out a message and then don’t send anything for months, they’ll forget about you. They’ll not bother to read your next message, worse unsubscribe, or mark it as spam. So create a publishing calendar that outlines when you’ll send out your message, what your email message will be, and what your message will look like.

#4 Test (the formatting)

Mobile devices and different email clients receive emails differently. For that reason, you should send out a test email to different devices to make sure that it appears correctly on the screen.

#5 Know and Understand Spam Rules

Many people send out what would be considered spam because they simply don’t know that they’ve broken the rules. Read the Can-Spam act and you will be able to avoid getting yourself into trouble. You are only allowed to send out bulk emails to anyone who asks to receive that email. If you collected email addresses through correspondence but no one asked to have anything sent then you are spamming them.

These five simple steps will make your email marketing campaign become more effective.

Does LeadSkimmer Convert?

Hi guys,

Just thought I’d let you in on a very interesting statistic..

I had a question this morning from one of our members asking if LeadSkimmer members ever upgrade to GlobalNPN through their backoffice. So I did a little bit of research on what the latest conversion ratios were.

I have everything programmed in Leadskimmer and GobalNPN to ensure that we can tell where our signups are coming from.

What I looked for was the percentage of Leadskimmer members that joined GlobalNPN through their LeadSkimmer backoffice, and then upgraded to GlobalNPN (at the Director level).

What I found was that we have a conversion ratio of a whopping 16%!

What that means is that 16% of everyone that joined NPN through their sponsor’s LeadSkimmer backoffice upgraded to Director in NPN! Nice!

So, what we have here, folks, is a very efficient sales funnel.

LeadSkimmer itself has 3 ways to earn money:

  1. LeadSkimmer Premium Upgrade commissions
  2. Sales from Entry Ads
  3. Your own followup to your Leadskimmer leads.

..And throw GlobalNPN into the mix and you have…

  • your upfront one-time commissions PLUS..
  • your back end recurring income stream… all built in.

Remember that your leadskimmer leads get added to YOUR contact list, so if you have anything else to market to them, that’s more money for you.

In a nutshell, this works. Nothing I have ever done has converted traffic into leads better than the Leadskimmer capture page. Nothing.

BUT you have to DO it.

Here are some of my own stats that I’ve tested through:

  • LeadSkimmer free leads to LeadSkimmer Premium or GlobalNPN Upgrade: 13%
  • GlobalNPN free join (from Leadskimmer backoffice), to GlobalNPN Director upgrade: 21%

For those of you that don’t know much about conversion rates. Those are good 😉

If your own conversion rates aren’t as good, it’s simply the result of the quality of the traffic you’re throwing at it.

Here are a couple points to remember when promoting LeadSkimmer:

  1. If your traffic isn’t converting into leads, you need to find a different (better) traffic source. If this is the case, DON’T keep pounding it with the same non-converting traffic, move on..
  2. If your leads aren’t upgrading (or doing anything), the problem could be with your followup, but if this is the case it’s usually your lead source (see item #1). “Garbage in, garbage out.”

So get out there and start promoting your LeadSkimmer affiliate link. Just do it. It works.
