19 Reasons Why You Should Start a Blog Today

So, is blogging really worth it?

Fact: If you’re not blogging, you’re not marketing.

We all hear about how much money you can earn from blogging, don’t we? We all hear about how important it is to your business. We all hear how much traffic you can generate with a blog…

But, REALLY, is it worth it?

Do I NEED to blog?

In a word.. yes.

But why?

Well, here are some pretty darn good reasons:

It encourages you to keep learning and finding new ideas.
It helps you determine what your audience wants.
It helps you get better search engine rankings.
It makes you think about complex ideas and how to simplify them.
It gets the conversation started.
It keeps you updated and relevant.
It makes for great content to share on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.
It helps you build your brand.
It helps you stand out from other marketers.
It helps build your following.
It gives you an avenue to keep in contact with your audience.
It inspires your readers.
It showcases your knowledge in your field.
It encourages your readers to take action.
It may land you speaking engagements, media interviews or job offers.
It gives you and your site credibility.
It gives you a “home base” on the internet
It gets results, income or otherwise
It gives you a way to advertise passively or directly
It is fun, once you start seeing some of the above results!

So, if you don’t have a blog yet, or if you have been avoiding starting one.. Go ahead and start. I guarantee it will be worth it to start. Once you start, you’ll never look back.

Does LeadSkimmer Convert?

Hi guys,

Just thought I’d let you in on a very interesting statistic..

I had a question this morning from one of our members asking if LeadSkimmer members ever upgrade to GlobalNPN through their backoffice. So I did a little bit of research on what the latest conversion ratios were.

I have everything programmed in Leadskimmer and GobalNPN to ensure that we can tell where our signups are coming from.

What I looked for was the percentage of Leadskimmer members that joined GlobalNPN through their LeadSkimmer backoffice, and then upgraded to GlobalNPN (at the Director level).

What I found was that we have a conversion ratio of a whopping 16%!

What that means is that 16% of everyone that joined NPN through their sponsor’s LeadSkimmer backoffice upgraded to Director in NPN! Nice!

So, what we have here, folks, is a very efficient sales funnel.

LeadSkimmer itself has 3 ways to earn money:

  1. LeadSkimmer Premium Upgrade commissions
  2. Sales from Entry Ads
  3. Your own followup to your Leadskimmer leads.

..And throw GlobalNPN into the mix and you have…

  • your upfront one-time commissions PLUS..
  • your back end recurring income stream… all built in.

Remember that your leadskimmer leads get added to YOUR contact list, so if you have anything else to market to them, that’s more money for you.

In a nutshell, this works. Nothing I have ever done has converted traffic into leads better than the Leadskimmer capture page. Nothing.

BUT you have to DO it.

Here are some of my own stats that I’ve tested through:

  • LeadSkimmer free leads to LeadSkimmer Premium or GlobalNPN Upgrade: 13%
  • GlobalNPN free join (from Leadskimmer backoffice), to GlobalNPN Director upgrade: 21%

For those of you that don’t know much about conversion rates. Those are good 😉

If your own conversion rates aren’t as good, it’s simply the result of the quality of the traffic you’re throwing at it.

Here are a couple points to remember when promoting LeadSkimmer:

  1. If your traffic isn’t converting into leads, you need to find a different (better) traffic source. If this is the case, DON’T keep pounding it with the same non-converting traffic, move on..
  2. If your leads aren’t upgrading (or doing anything), the problem could be with your followup, but if this is the case it’s usually your lead source (see item #1). “Garbage in, garbage out.”

So get out there and start promoting your LeadSkimmer affiliate link. Just do it. It works.

The Formula for Making A TON of Money Online

Hello all.

Ok, I know (if you’ve been around this industry for any length of time) you’ve probably heard lots of “Magic Formulas/Strategies/Blueprints” for making money online. Everybody has the best/quickest/easiest way to do things.

There are Blogging Strategies, Social Media Strategies, Youtube Strategies, TE Strategies, Webinar Strategies, SEO Strategies… and the list goes on.

Know what? They’re all good, and they’re all important to be familiar with.

Wanna know what my “Secret Strategy” is??

Ok..

When it comes down to it, all of those “secret” strategies I mentioned above are “additions” to what is really going on here.

They’re all based on a simple 5-step “system”, and this is the foundation underneath pretty much all internet marketing..

  1. Collect
  2. Communicate
  3. Qualify
  4. Close
  5. Copy (Go back to #2 and repeat..)

Well.. ok, it’s not really a “system”. But it IS a process. It’s a process that you should know, and it’s a process that you should follow and focus on.

In fact, before you try and market anything online, consider how you’ve decided to market your product, and then compare it to the 5-step process above. Does your marketing plan follow it? If not, I strongly recommend you integrate those 5 steps into your marketing before you decide to go for it.

I’d like to stress how important these steps are. Put it this way. You can make some money without following those steps. You can make millions by consistently following them. No, I’m not exaggerating.

Let’s go into a bit more detail:

1. Collect

Your first focus should be generating leads for your business (or prospecting). Lead generation and building your contact list is your primary focus. If this is NOT your primary focus, fix it.

2. Communicate

Once you have begun to generate leads (collect) and build your list, you need to develop a good business relationship with your list. Communication is huge in this business, and if you’re not providing ‘value’ to your list on a consistent basis, you will, quite simply, not make much money (if any).  Social media should be a big part of this step.

3. Qualify

This step can become a bit more ‘involved’ as it has to do with considering what to offer your lists. Qualification involves testing, re-testing, split-testing, and a bit of ‘guessing’ thrown in as well. Through your communication you should know who your market is, and who is on your list. If you don’t, it will be very difficult to be successful at recruiting someone into your MLM when all they want to do is be an affiliate marketer.

4. Close

The close is where you get paid. Here is where you make the sale and convert your prospects into buyers.

5. Copy (Go back to #2 and repeat..)

This step, for some reason, is forgotten or ignored by a lot of marketers. Some marketers stop after they’ve “closed” someone, thinking that “well, they bought something from me, now I can forget about them..”. WRONG! Fact: If someone buys from you, they’re a heck of a lot more likely to buy from you again. Don’t let them get away, keep them in your funnel. Communicate, re-qualify them, sell them something bigger! Don’t stop just because a sale has been made..

So, in a nutshell, there is your “secret moneymaking formula”. Write them down, and consider how you’re going to integrate those 5 steps into your own marketing plan.

That, my friends, is how you DO it. Now go get rich 😉

Interested in an Ad Co-op for LeadSkimmer / GlobalNPN?

Hello NPN’ers / Leadskimmers…

I know it’s been a while since my last “official” update to you, and I apologize, but I CAN assure you it’s not because I haven’t been working.

After speaking at the No Excuses Summit last month, I’ve been stepping back from the industry (as I know it), to try to get a different perspective on the direction things are moving in. It’s been an interesting few weeks to say the least, and I now have a clearer vision as to where GlobalNPN and Leadskimmer are headed. The future is awesome and I’m glad we’re all in it together..

Before I go into that any deeper (which I will soon), I want to ask you if you’d like to be a part of a rather large ad campaign that I’m going to be running, using LeadSkimmer as the funnel.

What I want to do is help you get leads for your own contact lists, and help you earn more money up front at the same time. Sound good? Thought so 😉

I’m developing new sales funnels that do just that – generate leads, make sales, back end into GlobalNPN.

How to Generate Hundreds of New Leads for Your Business and Convert Them Into NPN Directors on YOUR NPN Team

So here’s the plan..

You’re in GlobalNPN, and you want it to be a success… right?

Of course you do.

Here’s what you need (only 3 things):

  1. A high-converting marketing funnel (something to generate leads to your MMPro or Aweber contact lists).
  2. A “funded proposal” system to earn you “one off” commission payments to cover your advertising costs.
  3. An automated way of turning those leads into paying GlobalNPN members in your downline.

NOTE: This entire system HAS to be duplicatable to make sure your recruits can follow exactly what you’re doing – and be successful at it.

Nobody likes to have to pay for their advertising without any immediate returns, right? A funded proposal is what makes you “instant” money inside your marketing funnel. Usually a funded proposal’s function is to earn you enough money to cover your marketing costs while the “deeper” part of your marketing funnel (and you) works on turning those leads into recruits to your primary business (GlobalNPN).

3. An automated way of turning those leads into paying GlobalNPN members in your downline.

Once you get them in your funnel, at some point you need your funnel to work on converting your leads into GlobalNPN members under you. This would be the ultimate goal of your funnel – NPN recruits. This is where you start generating your monthly passive income that you need to have coming in.

And again, this entire process has to be DUPLICATABLE (I’m not even sure if that’s a word:). Regardless, this entire process we just went through needs to be duplicated by your leads, all the way through. ie. they need to access this system and start working it just like you are.
