What’s it gonna take?

So.. A lot of people are saying that “membership sites are dead” because nobody stays active for more than a couple months.

Well.. when your product is good, and it’s done right, you get long term active members.

Here’s a quick stat about my site (GlobalNPN) that was launched way back in 2005 (yes, 10 freakin’ years ago!).

“Almost 20% of our entire membership have been paying members for more than 2 years.”

(And even deeper still, 11% have been active members for more than 8 years!)

That is a crazy good statistic when the current industry standard is 2-4 months before they quit and move to the next shiny object.

They are still here because..

  1. They use the tools/products/training every day,
  2. They are STILL making money after all that time,
  3. Both 1 & 2.

My focus has always been long-term business building and focusing on helping people generate a solid monthly income.

Mission accomplished.

So.. what’s it gonna take?

What’s it gonna take to get YOU there?

It takes deliberate CONSISTENCY and FOCUS for only about 3-6 months to build something that will be lucrative and long term for you. I have more than 15 years experience and data that proves this.

.. yet people still won’t listen, and they still quit and jump to the next deal..

..and you know what?

“It sucks to be them.”

But YOU?

You just have to dig in – every single day.

To reach your goals, whether it’s $500 per month or $50k per month, what it takes is daily consistent “small” tasks that push you along towards your ultimate goal.

That’s what “building” a business is all about. You don’t just “have” a successful business, you build it.

It doesn’t happen overnight, it doesn’t happen in a week..

It happens when you string together the necessary steps you have to take, in order to get you where you want to be.

If you expect it to happen quickly, guess what? You’ll ALWAYS be expecting it to happen quickly. Always expecting it, never getting there.

You just have to dig in – every single day.

It’s up to you to decide that it’s going to happen. It’s up to you to decide to become successful in your business.

Be deliberately CONSISTENT and FOCUSED on your goals and you WILL get there.

What to do When You Get Good Advice

Hello people.

Here’s something to think about to start the week.

If someone that has lot of experience and a lot of success gives you advice on something you ASKED for help with… you should implement the recommended changes. Now.

ie. If your mechanic tells you to stop driving with your foot on the brake, you do as he/she says.

ie. If your doctor tells you to exercise, you go for a walk.

ie. If your lawyer says “stop talking”, you shut up.

If you don’t WANT the results, don’t ask for help.

If you DO want the results, don’t be dumb.

If you don’t take the advice, you have lost the right to ask for more help.

Oh and here’s a tip: if you pay for that advice (which you should) you will be more successful with it.

Here’s a Quick Marketing Lesson

Here’s a quick marketing lesson.

A few of you have questioned why I “push” the $17 Basic membership in the NPNBuilder videos instead of Director or Gold.

Well, there are a few reasons.

The main reason is that I know people will join at higher levels instead, even though the “less than $20” is highlighted throughout the entire NPNBuilder sales funnel.

Weird, right?

Not really.

The whole notion of starting a business for “less than $20” is a great opener for grabbing the viewer’s curiosity, and that’s what pulls them through the funnel, qualifying them along the way.

Once they get to the payment part of the process, they see the difference between what they can earn at the $27 level vs. the $17 level.

At $17, you can earn $5 per member.
At $27, you can earn $15 per member.

So… for just $10 more, your commissions TRIPLE.

(in their head they’re thinking: “Wow! That’s way better!”)

That’s enough for many people to start at PRO ($27).

However, many of THOSE people will mentally “commit” to the $27 level… until they see the huge jump in product access and commissions at DIRECTOR.

Some will jump at that, some will stay at the lower levels just to see what’s going to happen. Fair enough.

See how that works?

So here’s my statistics since NPNBuilder launched..

.. and they may surprise you.

Since we launched, here’s the breakdown of paying members that joined through NPNBuilder:

  • 43% joined at PRO ($27)
  • 24% joined at Basic ($17)
  • 23% joined at DIRECTOR ($67)
  • 10% joined at GOLD ($147)

Surprising?

Almost TWICE the number of people joined at PRO for $27 than joined at the “less than $20” Basic level.

Note that (almost) the exact same number of people that joined at the $17 Basic level, joined at DIRECTOR!

That’s pretty awesome.

That also gives you a heck of a good reason to upgrade to Director, doesn’t it?

Hope this gives you some insight into how the brain works when buying these types of things.

We Are Almost Ready To Go!

The funnel is complete, I’m just working on the backoffice training videos.

Internet Marketing is About Getting MORE

Internet Marketing is About ALWAYS Getting MORE

So… Go get MORE.

Internet marketing isn’t about creativity, or entertaining people, or creating great content..

It’s about having a systematic approach to everything you do, and knowing your numbers.getmore

It’s about looking at your results (or lack thereof) and responding to those results accordingly.. which is to continue to do what is working, and to stop doing what isn’t working.

It’s a continuous flow of testing, analyzing, changing, improving.

It’s important to realize that marketing doesn’t stop. It can never stand still.

It’s an evolutionary process.

If something works for you, you continue on that path, but you still must try to make that success even bigger.

It’s about being never satisfied with your results because your results can always be better. There’s always MORE. There’s always MORE you can do to improve on what you have.

But you won’t get any MORE if you don’t have the right mindset with regards to marketing.. and this is what I’m talking about.

If you say that you are satisfied with your results, then that’s all you’re going to get. THOSE results.

And that’s fine, but..

Why would you stay in that place? Why would you not take those results, and try to make them BETTER?

Test, analyze, improve.

Go get MORE.
