Top 10 Ways to Build Instant Credibility in Internet Marketing Online

Top 10 Ways to Build Instant Credibility in Internet Marketing Online, here’s a list of some things you should take into consideration when you’re marketing online:

10 – Be visible.

Any chance you can, brand yourself by adding your picture to your profile pages, capture pages, etc.

9 – Be real.

Use your real first and last name, don’t hide behind some crazy username.

8 – Be accessible.

Use social media channels to network and build relationships. Invite people to connect with you. Always reply quickly.

7 – Be consistent.

Consistency is the core activity in creating and maintaining business relationships. Consistency applies to your communication, as well as your product relevance. ie. your content should be relevant to the products you’re selling.

6 – Be a teacher.

Whatever you know, many other people don’t know. Share and provide solutions for problems that people are having.

5 – Be ethical and transparent.

Show people who you really are. Pretending to be someone else is an easy thing to uncover. They’ll see right through you if you’re not honest about who you are, and that’s where the trust breaks down.

4 – Be an expert.

Target a niche you have experience in. Remember, to be considered “an expert” in this industry only requires that you know just a little bit more about something than your prospects do..

3 – Be active.

Regularly update your websites/blogs and social media channels to stay fresh and current.

2 – Be professional.

Use proper English and be polite. Always take the high road, and don’t be an idiot 😉

1 – Be valuable.

Provide high-quality, valuable content to your readers and customers.

That’s it! Thanks, have a great day!

  1. Good advice and tips Geoff,

Especially in this wild world of IM wannabe’s. I searched for a minute trying to find my voice and have come to the conclusion, I just need to be me and to do that as best I can.

Nobody can tell my story better than I can, And, I just might be able to relate to someone else going through the same struggles I am.

    Thanks,

    Willie

We aren’t meant to be a mediocre version of someone else, We are meant to be an Excellent version of ourselves!

  2. Nice post Geoff! This is great. I loved reading it, going down the list being able to check off all of these on things that we are consistently doing in our business!

It’s so weird how many people out there think that they can still hide behind anonymous names on the Internet. By being transparent and communicating with people, we are able to interact so much more like in the real world (face to face) and it shows.

We have always put our picture and real names out there for people to see us and get to know us because we have always wanted people to look for other “real” people just like we do!

  3. Great post especially when it comes to being visible and accessible. Definitely two things when we\\\\’re new we don\\\\’t really want to be, but to get anywhere in this business, as we\\\\’ve learned, we have to push past those comfort levels.

  5. Being real would make things a lot easier for you rather than trying to be another person online. If you show a personality that doesn’t completely reflect your true self during the time when you have to make that first impression, you’re going to have to carry that persona all the way. If you’re planning to change that, it’s going to be a hard task for you to make people think that it’s a different persona of yours.
