3 Things You Can Do Every Day to Build Your Business Before Lunch Time

3 Things You Can Do Every Day “Before Lunch Time” to Build Your Online Business

So.. what are you going to do this morning? How about tomorrow morning? How about EVERY morning? Do you have a plan? Do you have a schedule?

You should.

Call it what you want, I call it my “morning brain”.

If you don’t really know what “those tasks” might be, here are a few do give you some ideas…

1. Create New Unique Content

Content? Write a new blog post. Spin it into an article. Make a video and upload it to Youtube. Create a powerpoint presentation and spin that into videos, articles, blogs, and email broadcasts… Create something! Focus all your content on generating leads to your list!

2. Advertise

Buy a solo ad. Start a Facebook PPC campaign. Run a classified. Buy some TE credits. Solo ads are awesome, make sure you are tracking everything. Send a broadcast to your list.

3. Socialize

Comment on blogs. Comment on Facebook. Share stuff on Facebook. Tweet everything. Put yourself out there and get in touch with people. Be friendly. Be helpful. Be excited. Be the “go-to” guy/gal.

Bonus: 4. Learn Something New

Go to Google and do some research. Learn how to write good ad copy. Learn how to write a good followup sequence for your autoresponder. Learn how to create a good squeeze page. Learn how to followup with your leads based on their personality type. Learn. Learn. Learn.

There you are. I guess the point here is to just do SOMETHING that will grow your business. Just do it. Just do it.

What are your first tasks in the morning? Comment below..

See ya!

  1. Just learning with no action is futile & visa-versa. The example I learned from Mike & Darla Witt in TrafficSecret is to put the 5-5-5 rule into play.
    5-Skill ~ 5-Action = 5-Success
    I can’t be a loner either… I must be a TEAM player!!! {The acronym for T.E.A.M. is: “Together-Everyone-Achieves-More”}
    Cheers & God Bless Ya’All :)*

    • Hi Manohar –

When I was a kid, (because I had to eat everything on my plate) I forced myself to eat my vegetables first (hardest thing first).

Now that I work at Marketing Online, I tell others to do the ‘EASIEST’ thing first. And that’s because, getting started is the only thing that’s really difficult. Once you’ve got yourself moving, the first task automatically flows into the next task. A lot like cleaning out the basement, once you get going, you’ll do more than you expected.

  2. Cool post Geoff! Dedication, persistence, and education are 3 of the most important aspects to online marketers!

We always like to check emails from our list to see who needs help and see what we can do to help them move forward.

Then, we tend to check to see what new ads we can place and get that done. It takes about 15-45 minutes, depending on how many ads we have to send out.

After that, we generally look for blogs (hey, like this one) to check for new content and post comments to so that we can build community and some back links to our network!

Lastly, we check our social media networks and start communicating on there.

If we get bored, we will find something to write, video, etc about to help encourage other people to build their business using the tools that we provide!

Just have to do it more and more. We treat our online work like an actual business. If you don’t go to work, you won’t get paid! So, we go to work everyday!
