Please Select Your Payment Option

Hello NPN’ers,

Quick reminder for you to make sure that you have selected your preferred payment option for receiving commissions this month.

Login to your NPN backoffice, click on “Billing Information” in the left menu.

Make sure you have selected “Global Debit/MasterCard (Payoneer)” if you wish to be paid to your NPN Debit Card.

Otherwise, you will be paid to your Alertpay account.

You can opt to receive commissions to your Debit Card if your application is APPROVED. You don’t need to have your card in your possession to receive commissions to your card. As long as you’re APPROVED we can fund your card account.

Please make sure you have done this by then end of this month. The option you have selected at the time we run commission calculations (on the 31st) is how we will pay you on the next payday (between the 10th and the 15th).

Thanks.

How to Get an Actual Response from Your Leads and Recruit Using Email

Hello all..

This is probably one of the most important “make or break” points of internet marketing. The reason I say that is because most people have no idea how to follow up with their leads correctly, and it’s why they fail most of the time.

Here’s the scenario..

Through your marketing you receive an email indicating that someone has entered their information into one of your lead capture forms. In other words, you just generated a lead..

So what do you do now? Well, my immediate advice would be to call them, but let’s assume in this case your new lead hasn’t entered in their phone number. You just have an email address and a name.

Your only option is to reply and email them back.

This is where you either pass or fail.

Most of the time, the new marketer (the ‘rookie’) will send an email to their new lead with the full intention of getting a sale or a signup out of them. Some generic sounding email that includes their affiliate link: “Sign up now!”

That action is, in a word, wrong.. and pretty useless.

What I do, and what most experienced marketers will do, is email the lead immediately WITHOUT ANY intention of making a sale or getting a signup. Weird, huh?

The whole point of this email is NOT to make a sale, but to start a conversation with the lead and to further qualify this prospect as well. You want INTERACTION, you want to open a line of communication with them on a personal level.

The main reasons for your email is to:

  1.  Get interaction from your prospect
  2. Start a conversation with your prospect
  3. Begin to qualify the prospect as a business partner
  4. Lead to further conversation via phone or Skype..

Note I said on a ‘personal’ level. If your email looks like an automated message, your lead will treat it like an automated message – they’ll probably ignore it. That means if you just send them a signup link, it looks fake, and you’ll get nothing from them.

Make it conversational. Ask questions. Comment on what you already know about them. Be friendly 🙂 You will have NO idea whether this personal will be a good fit for your business if you don’t ask questions.

Here’s a hint: If you have their IP address (usually included when they subscribe), you can get a basic knowledge of where they live by typing in their IP address at this site: http://geoiptool.com/

If you know approximately where they live through their IP address, it’s much easier to start a ‘personal’ conversation with them: “Hi Joe, I notice that you live in Texas. Are you in the Houston area? My wife’s family is from there and we’re thinking of heading that way this summer, any tips on what to see while we’re there..? etc..”

The key here is to make sure your email does NOT sound like an automated followup. Put it this way, if your emails all sounded like generic autoresponder messages, I would choose to NOT do business with you. If you can’t connect with me as a professional, I will not connect with you.

That said, if you do it right, your prospects will see you as someone they want to work with.

Let the conversation continue below if you have any comments..

GlobalNPN Announces Debit/MasterCard for Commissions!

Hello All,

Finally!

You can now order your GlobalNPN Debit/Mastercard from your NPN backoffice! (Yes, it’s free to order!)

Login to your backoffice ( http://thenpn.biz/members ), click on “Billing Information” in the menu on the left..

You will see a picture of the card, click on the card to order it. Simple as that.

As soon as your card application is approved (it took me about 5 minutes to be approved), you can choose to have your commissions sent to your card on our monthly paydays.

Any other information about the card can be found by clicking on the card image in your backoffice (FAQ, Fees, Contact info, etc.)

Now… on another note..

If for some reason you are still choosing to use Alertpay, it appears you can now fund your Alertpay account with your credit card.

Login to Alertpay and click on “Deposit”. There is now a credit card option for getting your account funded. You can’t pay for products or subscriptions directly with your credit card, but you can fund your account beforehand and then pay with those funds.

Don’t forget, GlobalNPN accepts payments via Credit Card directly (no Alertpay) so using Alertpay by funding it with your credit card will cost you more than paying directly to NPN.

And with our new Debit Card you can take Alertpay out of the entire process completely. Yay!

That’s it for now..

Have a great day.

Blogging in the Morning – Managing your Time

Hi everyone,

Time Management.

I have often been asked, “What’s the #1 piece of advice you can offer with regards to maximizing the time you have available during the day?”

We all struggle with how to get the most out of our time, especially when many of us are doing this part time. This is something that I’ve struggled with myself on and off over the years in doing business online.

When running a business, you have tasks that you need to accomplish, some are boring, mundane tasks that we might not LIKE to do, but we have to do them nonetheless. We also have tasks that we do that are specifically geared towards generating new business and new income.

Now.. the typical way to think is that we want to get the “boring” stuff out of the way so we can concentrate on the stuff that makes us money.

That used to be the way I thought about it but it turns out I had everything backwards.

Our first instinct when we start our day is to open our email, deal with that. Then open our Skype, deal with those messages. Then deal with any issues that your team is dealing with. Check voicemail and see if there are reports of any more issues that we need to deal with…

By that time, we’re exhausted and are all set to have lunch.

Then, we get back to work after lunch and try and do something that’s actually productive for our business. Unfortunately our brain is telling us that we’ve had enough, and trying to come up with new ideas just isn’t happening for you.

That’s exaclty what was happening to me. After dealing with the boring stuff, I had a hard time doing anything that required being creative. Blogging, programming, design work, ad copy, articles, video ideas… I was having to FORCE myself to be creative, which, as we know, is not the best way to jumpstart our creativity. It’s incredibly frustrating.

So I switched things up, and here’s what I do now..

My first tasks when I start my day are things that are focused on creating income and building my business. Simple as that. The morning is when my brain is ‘fresh’ (after my coffee of course), and that’s when the new ideas flow much more easily. That’s when all the ‘good stuff’ happens.

Then I leave my boring stuff until towards the end of my day. It doesn’t take creativity to do the mundane tasks that come with running a business, you just have to do them, very little ‘brains’ involved. Save those for later.

So, in closing..

My #1 tip for time management?

Do the things that make you money FIRST. Save the rest for later.

.. and my #1 tip for organizing your daily tasks?

Use your GlobalNPN TomorrowList in your backoffice. It keeps me totally on task and up to date. Use it. It’s in your NPN backoffice and you can also access it on your smartphone.

That’s it for now.

Have a great day.

Director Machine Lead Qualification

Hello NPN’ers,

One of the things I’ve learned over the years with regards to online MLM is how to handle the “systematic qualification” of leads.

What I’m talking about is once your leads have entered your marketing funnel (your capture page), how do you know if they’re qualified to be in your downline? How do you know if they’re interested in really getting started, or even if they’re for real at all!

When you get a lead through your capture page, you have a few options as to what to do..

1. You can call them up right away and talk to them (essentially a cold call)

2. You can just leave them and “hope” they signup for something in your funnel without ever contacting them.

3. You can “pre-qualify” them while they’re still in your funnel, before you even think about contacting them.

Personally, I prefer (and am best at) option #3. It’s something  I’ve been doing for a long time and what I do.. works.

Here’s what I do when I get a lead through one my capture pages..

After opting in, and when they get to a certain point (or page) in my funnel, I get them to complete some sort of task which is designed to tell ME what they’re really all about. Note that I haven’t contacted them at all at this point, aside from the automated responder messages that would have set up.

It’s kind of like interviewing them briefly for the “job” of working with me, or being part of my downline.

If they decide to complete the task and I like the response that I get from the task, I will contact them (yes, on the phone usually). If they don’t complete the task, I know that they’re not interested enough and that I should probably send them in a different direction in my funnel. For example, if I’m trying to recruit them to an MLM opp. and they balk at the task, I’m better off keeping them on my list and sending them other related offers that they can purchase from me. It’s all part of the qualification process..

Now.. the tasks I request that they complete can be (and are) a number of different things. The task can be answering a quick questionnaire, it can be watching a video, watching a presentation, listening to an audio, completing an application kit, etc..

BUT what it NEEDS to be is something that engages the prospect and actually gets them to DO something. I have a few of them that work really well. I call them “prospecting engines” and that’s exactly what they do.

So…

The reason I’m bringing this up is because there is a small task inside the DirectorMachine marketing funnel that basically asks your prospects a couple questions. The way it is worded makes a big difference in the response you’ll get – and can determine if they’re interested and realistic about it… or not.

The system is now setup to email you (as their sponsor) their response to the task.

Here’s how it works:

After opting in your Directormachine capture page, they will eventually get to a page inside where they can signup for NPN. Once they signup and login they are presented with the task. That information will be emailed to you immediately by our system as soon as they complete it. The information will include their Name, Phone #, Email, and some information on what their income goals are.

If you get an email like this, call them. On the phone. If you decide to email them instead you won’t get the same response. When they completed the task the system has already told THEM to expect a call from you, and you have their information, so it’s far from being a cold call. THEY’VE BEEN QUALIFIED by the system, and you know what they’ve done to get this far, so call them.

Using the Directormachine system I’ve brought in 5 new Directors in the past 2 days – all from pretty poor quality traffic as well. This stuff works… .And it’s a system that can be duplicated by your downline. Cool, huh?

So…

Be a Director Member in NPN, use the DirectorMachine capture system, call your leads, close your leads, make a bunch of money.

Thanks!
